Jamie Rosado Shares First Photo Since Overdose

Jamie Rosado is back to having hopes, but maybe not quite as high.

The 31-year-old singer of Lonely Riot has shared his first post on Instagram since news reported almost a year ago that the singer had been admitted to Cedars Sinai hospital for a drug related overdose. The simple black and white photo gives little clues to Rosado's current state, however his caption expresses gratitude and positivity.

"Life is about the important things and only the important things: family, friends, music, and LOVE. Everything else is just noise. So what do you all think? Should I retire? Play music our [sic] of my basement and become a happy little family man? I'm liking that idea a lot. I'm thankful, I'm blessed, and I'm loved, so right now I have everything I could ever need." The Instagram pic is tagged in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Rosado also tagged actress Amelia Garrison, whom he has had an on again/off again relationship.

In August 2020, a rep for Rosado stated that he would be entering a rehab program for drug and mental illness related issues, and that he would be sticking to his treatment.

"Jamie is happy and healthy right now, and that is all thanks to the hard work he's put into getting sober and taking care of his mental health," his rep shared back in August. "He's struggled a lot over the years, but he's always been transparent with those around him about what he is going through, so he has a support system that is ready to help him take on this next challenge."

No details have been given on what the singer has been up to since, but a source tells ET that Rosado hasn't been sitting around. "He's ready to work on music again, but his focus right now are the people in his life. It's clear to everyone right now that he's really enjoying spending time with the ones he loves."
