I've never spoken about this before, but I was pregnant once. It was a difficult pregnancy and I lost the baby early on in the second trimester. For many years, I struggled with the fear of carrying a baby to full term. I was not expecting Gabriel and the surprise I felt turned to absolute glee and then if I'm being honest, turned to fear again. I'm just so blessed and grateful that after numerous doctor's appointments where I was probably driving everyone crazy, a bunch of late night scares caused by hiccups and gas, and three weeks of bed rest, he's safe here in my arms now. Welcome to the world, my miracle baby. You have already changed my life. ❤️

Luc has been my rock and foundation throughout all of this. I couldn't have done this (quite literally! lol) without such a wonderful person as you in my life. You just never know what this life has in store for you! Luc and I can't wait to show our son all the wonders and joy that can be had in our lives. Gabe, you will be so very loved by your family!! ❤️❤️❤️ @lucentiowalsh

Wallis opens up on the post with an emotional story about a previous pregnancy that did not go to full term. "I've never spoken about this before, but I was pregnant once. It was a difficult pregnancy and I lost the baby early on in the second trimester. For many years, I struggled with the fear of carrying a baby to full term," the actress explains. She confirms that her delivery went with ease and dotes on her newborn, "You have already changed my life. ❤️"

The Instagram post also goes on to recognize Luc Walsh. "Luc has been my rock and foundation throughout all of this. I couldn't have done this (quite literally! lol) without such a wonderful person as you in my life."

Speculation surrounding Wallis's pregnancy was first controversially leaked by Page Six. Many fans of the actress chastised the publication for using Wallis's change in body shape as a newsworthy story, and came to the actress's defense on social media.

"It is 2021, we should not be doing this anymore" one twitter user, @rachelahoy wrote. Another Twitter user, @deenamarie8, retweeted the article with the message, "Really? Can we just let people and their bodies be? Whether she is pregnant or not, this type of reporting is gross."

Though the article was released back in September, Wallis never officially responded to the rumors, nor did she confirm the baby's father until now.

Wallis ends the post with an uplifting message. "You just never know what this life has in store for you! Luc and I can't wait to show our son all the wonders and joy that can be had in our lives. Gabe, you will be so very loved by your family!! ❤️❤️❤️"
