Ryan would explain that he just randomly found it the other day when he was going through boxes looking for Christmas decorations. Unfortunately, some of his mother's things ended up in boxes because he wasn't ready to sift through it all yet, and then things got forgotten over the years. But it appearing again felt like a sign.

When he saw it, he knew that Vallari should have it. It's a symbol of how much he loves her. "Vallari, you are my love, both mine and Lily's heart, and our family. Merry Christmas, I love you."

This one is from Lily. She wanted to make ornaments but she told Ryan they needed to be a secret because "one of them is a gift!"

He would joke that they might have come out a bit better if Vallari was involved in helping to make them instead of him, to which Lily would give Ryan a look like "HEY!" And Ryan would have to cough, "I mean Lily yours is perfect. My ornament, however, needs work..." Lily wouldn't mind though, she'd start laughing at her dad's ornament and completely agree with him.
